This position will retrieve and decipher data to create insights used by leadership to make better-informed decisions about business models, strategies, and market introductions. The role is principally responsible for research design, data collection instruments, interpreting data, executing quantitative and qualitative techniques, conducting data analysis, advanced analytics, formulating reports, and producing final reports with substantiated recommendations. Areas of focus and support include: assess and monitor global markets, competitors, and future trends, support strategy development, and support new product and business development.
1.      In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. 2.      Develop and maintain cardiac surgery market model. 3.      Gather and communicate market and competitor intelligence utilizing a broad range of primary and secondary data sources and determine implications for Terumo Cardiovascular. 4.      Identify opportunities for new products and markets, customer targets, or inefficiencies that need to be addressed. 5.      Analyze worldwide market patterns and trends; including on-going business reporting dashboards, Salesforce data analytics, and financial and market share reports. 6.      Collaborate with regional Associates to track procedures and product data globally within Tableau. 7.      Develop processes and timing for publishing internal reports monthly, quarterly, and annually. 8.      Create visuals and build presentations to highlight research findings and market scenarios. 9.      Serve as corporate contact/lead for external market rearch partners and data consolidation services. 10.   Develop deep business acumen in markets we serve and future market opportunities. 11.   Perform other duties as assigned.
