The Division of Endocrinology at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, a member of the Steward Health Care System, located in Boston, Massachusetts is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist. The Division is seeking a candidate who is collaborative, with strong clinical and communication skills, and with experience in teamwork.

St. Elizabeth's endocrinologists, all board-certified faculty members of the Boston University School of Medicine, provide consultation and state-of-the-art disease management for conditions, including:

  • Diabetes and thyroid disease
  • Bone disorders (osteoporosis, osteomalacia, Paget's disease, calcium disorders and other metabolic bone diseases)
  • Disorders of the adrenal, pituitary and reproductive glands

Three centers, all conveniently located on St. Elizabeth's Boston campus, offer the latest diagnostic, counseling, and treatment services.

St. Elizabeth's Diabetes Center, recognized by the American Diabetes Association for offering an outstanding self-management program, provides personalized diagnosis and treatment for patients with metabolic syndrome, type 1 and type 2 diabetes management and gestational diabetes.

St. Elizabeth's Medical Center serves as the tertiary care hospital for Steward Health Care in Massachusetts and is a major teaching affiliated hospital of Boston University School of Medicine. This position features a Faculty appointment at Boston University School of Medicine commensurate with background and experience. St. Elizabeth's Medical Center features a state-of-the-art Endoscopy Unit with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, a large integrated medical and surgical intensive care unit, excellent sub-specialty clinical support, and a busy bariatric, colorectal, and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery program. Candidate shall be expected to teach medical students, medical residents, and gastroenterology fellows.
