Strategy: Plan and Support strategic Initiatives of the Bank
Business: Responsible for designing, developing solutions and managing database platforms and ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance
Processes: Compliant with applicable internal policies, procedures, external laws and regulations.
People and Talent:
o Ability to resolve the most complex technical issues professionally, rapidly and consistently and work alongside other colleagues and teams to identify root cause and provide solutions.
o Design and implement practical and simplified solutions to the database estate and work towards increasingly automating the lifecycle management.
o Mature and develop our open source database offerings.
o You are required to provide database support of deep technical expertise to all the stakeholders in a stable, productive and cost-effective manner. You should be highly self-motivated, task oriented and capable of working independently in carrying out tasks and trouble shooting.
o Proactively monitor and make strategic plans to address issues to improve service stability. o Provide technical support and resolve outage in a short turnaround time. o Actively engage with key stakeholders to ensure different objectives are aligned and assist stakeholders by providing specialist skills and knowledge as required. o Participate in out-of-hours support and delivery as required. o Automate standard processes

• Bachelors or Master degree preferred • Database Certifications preferred • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language – Python, Shell, Ansible, GO, C • Knowledge on at least one HA/Clustering Solution
