    Overview

    Role Purpose

    Provide clinical expertise in collaboration with St. Louis Children's Hospital and Washington University partners, to ensure clinical excellence in all patient and family education materials and programming delivered through the Center for Families. Works with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop, implement, and evaluate consumer health information. Responsible for application of technology updates relating to the Center for Families Resource Library. Serves as an access point in delivering consumer health information to hospitals, schools, and community partners.

    Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with staff to identify educational needs for the Center for Families.
  • Ensures materials are up to date and reviewed by clinical subject matter experts.
  • Assists medical librarian to maintain Center for Families library collection and print material.
  • Implements innovative learning sessions for families and patients.
  • Develops programs and learning methods for staff in the use of current and new resources.
  • Minimum Requirements
