• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• BCLS certificate
• Crisis Intervention Institute Certificate, or equivalent
• Recent experience working in a medical or surgical nursing
• Recent experience working with diabetic, CVA & respirology patients
• Current competence in using glucose monitoring devices
• Satisfactory completion of a recognized patient assessment course
• Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated problem assessment skills
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
• Demonstrated individual leadership skills
