SCFC Sales Representative

The SCFC Sales Representative is responsible for ensuring sales and loan targets are met, contributing to company's growth and profitability by meeting the financial needs of regional markets, and responsible for both new business development and portfolio/relationship management. This individual will be accountable for managing relationships with our dealers in order to enhance existing customer relationships and build upon new ones.

Position Overview

Area of Responsibility and Duties

  • Develop, grow and maintain client relationships with dealer partners through visits and communication of dealer needs
  • Plan and organize sales visits to assigned dealer partners on established timelines
  • Communicate with dealers on current offerings and programs
  • Train dealers on proper documentation for funding
  • Works closely with dealers to promote the sales and implementation of financial products
  • Participates in ongoing relationship reviews with all clients
  • Analyze active loan file performance and recommend solutions to enhance results
  • Maintain established benchmarks for originations and loan performance
  • Demonstrate compliance with all regulations that apply to your position, and keep up to date on regulation changes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications

The following knowledge, skills and abilities are needed to be successful in this position:

  • 2-years' experience in retail/consumer lending strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Active Listening – give full attention to the words and body language of others, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate
  • Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one's own time

  • Working Conditions:  This position is a combination of office and regional travel
  • Travel time up to 50%

Lithia Hiring Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 18 years or older
  • Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license in state of residence
