PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides day-to-day TacMobile system-of-systems procurement operations ensuring effective performance response, customer service, and alignment with the programs mission, values, and goals
  • Serves as the primary interface to the government customer in accounting, property, security, shipping/receiving, information technology, facilities, and contracting of TacMobile material procurement
  • Prepares, negotiates, manages, and closes out material requisitions and contracts related to the TacMobile program, as assigned
  • Assists in developing and reporting metrics for financial analysis, procurement actions, and customer service
  • Participates in continuous improvement program, recommending process changes and techniques and assisting in implementation
  • Supports teamwork, customer service, positive interpersonal relationship techniques, and alignment with Company mission, values, and goals
  • Preparation and administration of TacMobile system/subsystem procurement documents
  • Reviews and resolves all issues affecting equipment/material deliveries and ensures technical requirements and customer objectives are satisfied

    FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • This job requires a minimum of a two-year technical degree (or equivalent) and eight or more years work related experience in a relevant technical discipline
  • Must be proficient in the Navy's ERP process and able to track procurements through contract award
  • Must be proficient in generating all related procurement documents to include, but not limited to: Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Sole Source Justifications, Justifications for Items Peculiar to One Manufacturer (JIPOM), Material Request Forms, Purchase Card Forms, EIT Certifications and Software Certifications
