PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This individual will support the curriculum development team providing web design and content development to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center NIWC. The specific services required include:

  • Basic to mid-level web design/implementation experience within DoD or Military desired
  • Beginning web footprint (SharePoint) and then readily accessible for customer/instructor usage later on (Cloud Services, DevOps)
  • Research and development requirements (find pictures, maps, etc.)
  • SharePoint Web Design implementation
  • Design/Deploy customize workflows
  • Deploy custom site templates and master pages
  • Ensure all created content is web deployable
  • Electronic Forms Front End Web Developer
  • Use of latest trends in web development, with strong knowledge of HTML and CSS protocols
  • Experience creating responsive websites
  • Experience with Illustration Tools, Multimedia Content Development, Understanding Browser Capabilities Cloud Computing Experience
  • 1-2 years' experience with Cloud technologies and providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Curriculum Analysis; Provide direct support "to" curriculum developer to include routine research, product design/production assistance (handouts, guides, hard/soft copies, pictures, etc.) and associated creative projects (fliers, etc.)
  • Update and maintain Blue Palawan WIKI, i.e. making it more user friendly, posting curriculum updates, updating data, schedules, calendars, etc.
  • Provide direct/routine liaise with SSC Pacific Blue Palawan PM and training team in support of curriculum development/knowledge management and associated requirements.
