SAIC is seeking an experienced Special Operations Forces (SOF) Integrator located at Camp Smith in Hawaii to provide program support of the Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC) program at the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J7 to serve as the focal point for integration of SOF Operations, Activities, and Investments for the PMTEC program as well the PMTEC Military Liaison to Special Operations Command – Pacific (SOCPAC).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Program Support: Track and contribute to strategic planning and investments that advance SOF-related capabilities within the PMTEC campaign. Develop SOF-relevant concepts and solutions to enhance Joint All-Domain operations and experimentation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Capability Development: Refine SOF TTPs within the PMTEC and J7 environment. Support the development of innovative SOF solutions to address emerging threats and operational challenges in the INDOPACOM AOR, focusing on interoperability and mission effectiveness.

  • Joint Exercise Integration: Coordinate SOF capabilities—such as precision targeting, unconventional warfare, and sensitive site exploitation—into Joint exercises across USINDOPACOM. Facilitate JELC Combined Joint All Domain Operations (CJADO) Working Groups coordination with CJADO FTX events to ensure seamless integration and execution. Understand SOCPAC priorities within the INDOPACOM AOR and provide recommendations on how to better synchronize them within USINDOPACOM Joint Exercises. Ensure SOF participation in all phases of the JELC and apply lessons learned to improve training and experimentation outcomes.

  • Inter-Service Coordination: Liaise across Service components, synchronizing efforts with exercise planners and training coordinators from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, and SOF units. Foster collaboration between SOF and conventional forces to achieve integrated training objectives. Deliver clear and concise briefings, reports, and updates on SOF contributions to senior leaders and DoD stakeholders.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelors and ten (10)+ years of relevant experience; an additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

  •  DoD (uniform, civilian or contractor) Background: SOF Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, SOF Mid-level Warrant Officer, or SOF Mid-level Commissioned Officer experience.

  • Broad knowledge of Joint Military, SOF, and Intelligence Community Systems, Doctrine, and Organization.

  • Understanding of Joint Fires and Targeting Concepts and related Joint and Service Doctrine.

  • Experience within the INDOPACOM Area of Operations and Joint Exercises.

  • Proficient with SharePoint Online, Office 365, collaboration features, and document management.

DESIRED SKILLSET: 

  • Experience with multiple Military, SOF, and Intelligence Community mission areas; integration of SOF tactics at the Operational level of war; integration of SOF Capabilities and Effects in support of All/Multi-domain operations; integration of military command and control systems preferred. Experience with SOF Modeling and Simulation and Special Access Programs/Special Technical Operations desired.

  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering principles, Systems Integration, DoD Architecture Framework, and SOF Program Management/Acquisition. 

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

  • Must be a current US Citizen.


Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
