SAIC is seeking candidates with experience in missile Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithm and model development, development of and analysis with six degree-of-freedom (6DOF) simulations of missile interceptors, threat ballistic missiles, targets, and tactical missiles. This position is located in Crane, IN.
Candidates will have an opportunity to work with team of very senior missile system engineers supporting a number of on-going missile programs and the development of corporate tool sets.
Candidates will design, develop, implement, verify and test hardware, algorithms and software and simulation tools to perform guidance, navigation and control.
Navigation functions include the statistical processing of measured data points and their substitution into algorithms to determine position orientation and rates of change of the target of interest.
Guidance functions include the formulation of specific equations to achieve a desired position, orientation or orbit.
Control functions include the design and analyses processes consist of the development of the control algorithms and hardware and software requirements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
Bachelor's in Engineering and two (2) years of experience or Master's in Engineering and 0 years' experience.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a Full DOD Top Secret Security Clearance.
