SAIC is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support the USMC at our Hanahan, SC location. This position is 100% on- site. 
 
This position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently, as well as with a team. It involves working at all levels of program and systems management.  Travel may be required, as needed, to support program meetings and system testing. 
 
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Oversight of fielding kits, per written instructions.
• Integration of parts, cables, assemblies, and sensitive equipment.
• Interaction with other facets of project development and support, such as: leads, government customer, procurement, drafting support, engineering support, and inventory support.
   

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED and Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.  Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.
• Eight (8) years of practical experience
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and cable run sheets to verify correct build of cables.
• Experience in the use and maintenance of various electrical and mechanical tools.
• Experience in laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.
• Provide input to technical design support.
• Provide input to technical reports if needed.
• Assist in resolving product development and manufacturing issues.
• Perform the testing necessary to ensure form, fit, and function.
• Support system\software testing.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
