General Scope and Summary
SAGE Therapeutics is searching for an analytical and detailed oriented Compensation Analyst to join the People and Experience (P&E) team. You will play a key role in ensuring high quality and competitive compensation data for the organization. This role will work directly with leaders across the business, as well as the P&E Partners, to provide support on global compensation related matters. This role will manage the day-to-day reporting and ad hoc analysis, as well as play a key role in our annual compensation review process, general compensation administration, and industry compensation survey participation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day inquiries and requests from Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on compensation related matters.
Review and support manager creation of OFCCP compliant job descriptions.
Conduct market analysis for individual employees/teams and develop recommendations for pay adjustments, promotional or developmental increases, and position ranges.
Partner with internal P&E stakeholders to ensure the success of our compensation programs and successfully implement new compensation initiatives.
Ensure the integrity of external market data and the smooth operation of the annual compensation planning process.
Analyze compensation survey results to assess market competitiveness and effectiveness of pay related programs.
In partnership with the Operations team, may perform user acceptance testing on system enhancements in Workday .
Conduct the salary survey submission process. Track surveys and due dates. Prepare compensation profile, position matches, and data compilation for salary survey submission.
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Excel and Workday.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete projects with attention to detail and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Detail oriented with the ability to work individually, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors.
Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution-oriented.
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
