Reports to the Director of Food & Nutrition. The Clinical Nutrition Manager must be a Registered Dietitian, preferably with a Masters Degree in Clinical Nutrition, who oversees the clinical nutrition aspects of the hospital. The clinical nutrition aspects of the hospital include, but are not limited to, managing the team of Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC) registered dietitians, supporting/collaborating with the Sodexo food service management team, ensuring patients receive meals compliant with their prescribed diet orders, maintaining compliance with state and regulatory standards and participating in community outreach initiatives.
A Registered Dietitian, preferably with 5 years experience in a clinical setting. Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree strongly preferred. Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Active CDR certification. Active ServSafe Certification.
