RWJBH is seeking a Cook in the Dietary Management Department at the New Brunswick campus. This is a Per Diem, Day position (25 hours/week).
- Assists with preparation of hot foods for patients and staff.
- Assists in maintaining standards of quality, sanitation, portion control, presentation and storage.
- Relieves in absence of Chef.
- Able to process menu selections for all diet restrictions based on diet order
- Will also have to visit patient rooms to obtain menu selection.
- Will provide proper portions and nutrient requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Great Knife Skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with one year health care cooking experience required.
