Title: Patient Accounting Manager Company: Roswell Park Cancer Institute Department: Patient Accounts Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Manages billing, collections and accounts receivable functions; supervises staff; prepares and maintains departmental policies and procedures; prepares and monitors departmental budgets. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time health care billing experience in a supervisory, administrative, managerial, consultative, or executive capacity; or
2. Associate's degree in Business or a related field and the equivalent of seven (7) years of full-time experience in health care billing including five (5) years experience in a supervisory, administrative, managerial, consultative, or executive capacity; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of nine (9) years of full-time experience in health care billing including five (5) years experience in a supervisory, administrative, managerial, consultative, or executive capacity.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum 10yrs of management experience in a medical billing environment.
