Description

We are currently looking for a TEMPORARY Helpdesk Specialist to support our IT Department. This position will be focused primarily on the projects and initiatives that need extra support, along with catching up on the backlog of support tickets. This role will be a minimum of 6 months, with the end date unknown at this time, and begin ASAP! Description This individual will be supporting the Information Technology department and responsible for the following: Assisting with project related tasks Processing support tickets from internal users Working with internal users to troubleshoot their technical issues Providing customer service to internal users to assist and resolve their issues Work directly with a team to ensure timeliness and a high response rate Any miscellaneous tasks as needed Requirements Experience troubleshooting mobile devices Familiarity with IT practices, policies and procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow written and/or verbal directions Ability to communicate with others in an efficient and professional manner For immediate consideration, please reach out to Samuel.Schiro@rht.com

Requirements

- We especially are looking for candidates with ITIL certification - Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement - Working knowledge in one or more programming or scripting language - A combination of superior customer service skills and technical aptitude is required for success at this position - Can work independently with minimal supervision - Technical Support experience - Proficient in analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction - Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well - Applicants should have technical skills to serve as escalation point for handling incidents and service requests related to application, operating system and other service related problems - 3+ years of experience supporting desktop/server operating systems and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange and VMware - Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work For immediate consideration, please reach out to Samuel.Schiro@rht.com
