Titusville company is looking for a Staff Accountant. The company is looking for a minimum of 1+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant will include, but not limited to the following. Processing of credit application for all potential customers. Communicate company credit policies and procedures to customers. Receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts. Negotiate credit extensions when necessary. Monitor cash on delivery or COD payments and issue credit hold notifications. Maintain constant communications with internal departments to ensure smooth shipping and billing of customer units. Recommend bad debt write-offs. Process returns and exchanges. Completion of weekly/monthly reports along with periodic audit requests. Analyze sales data for completion, accuracy, accruals, and recommendations. Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes and purging the records of past customers. Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses. Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 1+ years of experience - Communicate effectively with others both verbally and written - Work both independently and with others as necessary - Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Ability to review work for accuracy and completeness - Think independently and develop solutions to problems - Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
