Description

We're looking for a skilled, full-time Senior Accountant to join a budding company in the Manufacturing industry in the Dallas, Texas area. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant role is located in Richardson, Texas within the Manufacturing field. What you get to do every single day - Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Provide monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external - When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests - Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner - Engage in various department-wide initiatives - Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP - Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Requirements

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines - Able to manage time well - Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus - Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus - Self-starter and strong ethical standards - Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills - ERP system experience - Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued - 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Cash flow management experience
