The role will be responsible for all middle office functions regarding valuation, investing and servicing. Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting in the servicing of an investment portfolio and assisting the Portfolio Valuation Manager and Analyst. Essential Functions Develop a strong understanding of investments. Collaborate with third party servicer to onboard newly acquired policies for servicing. Actively monitor investments. Communicate with outside entities to verify policy transactions, monitor cash-flows, and identify potential issues. Support the monthly, quarterly and annual data reconciliation for the portfolio with external vendors. Review and provide quarterly reports to Portfolio Valuation Manager for senior credit facility. Oversee claims process and collateral release for maturities. Support accounting in reconciliation of portfolio records and assets. Scanning and filing correspondence for all documents received and attached to the asset. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies Ability and desire to work as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise Qualifications Bachelors degree in business, finance or related field. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel.
