Melbourne area company is looking for an Human Resources Specialist. The company is looking for a minimum of 2+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Human Resources Specialist will include, but not limited to the following. -- Post job advertisements, conduct preliminary employment screenings and schedule interviews. -- Complete onboarding process for all new hires, including I-9 verification and benefits orientation. -- Collaborate with management as needed on employee recognition and engagement initiatives, such as team-building events, employee birthdays and anniversaries. -- Complete administrative tasks that include filing paperwork, off-boarding employees, updating policies and employment verification. -- Maintain and update Employee Handbook. -- Resource and point of contact for employee questions on topics such as payroll, benefits, time off, personnel issues, etc. -- Assist with performance management and compliance.
