You might be the Controller Robert Half Finance is looking for, if you want to take responsibility for the accounting and clerical department of a successful Real Estate - Sales & Lease company. The Controller position is a full-time opportunity in the Bellingham, Washington region. Salary: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 Responsibilities: -Leader of all day to day accounting functions -Manage teams to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close -Responsible for consolidation of financial results -Possess the ability to assess and conclude on technical accounting issues -Build a best in class accounting team -Provide insights of the financial results and close connection to the FP&A team Qualifications: -+15 years of relevant working experience -Able to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency -Strong business process and systems experience -Experience in public accounting preferred -Bachelor of Arts/Science in Accounting and/or Finance -Active CPA license required -Masters degree preferred Contact Information: Hellen Gakuru, 206.749.0960,


- Prior work in technology, analytics and management experience desired - Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision - Be detailed, flexible, and organized - Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field - Strong analytical capabilities and discernment - Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred - Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment - Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued - Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
