Position Description:

We offer an exciting opportunity for an innovative, self-motivated Payroll/Benefits Administrative Clerk who is looking to accelerate their career growth within the largest privately-held rigid plastics manufacturer in North America, with global operations.

In this role, you will coordinate various administrative tasks regarding employee data within the Payroll and Benefits Departments. Additional duties include executing mass mailings, maintaining employee records, data entry, assisting with customer requests, and completing special projects as needed. Growth potential to learn and support payroll processing exists.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as first point of contact within the Payroll and Benefits office.
  • Retrieve, date, stamp, and distribute incoming mail for Payroll and Benefits Departments.
  • Track Payroll and Benefit Department supplies inventory and ensure materials are available and organized.
  • Process, sort, and distribute paperwork and requests from employees, off-site locations, vendors, and service providers.
  • Prepare and send missing paperwork reporting and returned mail to locations.
  • Process mass mailings, direct deposit statements, mail merge correspondence- print, fold, insert, create labels, apply postage, seal, and send all outgoing mail.
  • Maintain employee files by creating new files, filing pertinent material, and moving files to storage.
  • Reissue lost or missing W-2's and 1095-C's.
  • Enter payroll and benefits data into SAP.
  • Complete benefits reporting, auditing and mailings.
  • Assists with other administrative tasks, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of office management experience required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience. SAP experience a plus.
  • Experience with office equipment including folders, inserters, mail meters, telephones, and copier/printer/scanner.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25-30 lbs. and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Position requires lifting above the head, standing for extended periods of time, reaching, bending and kneeling.
