It's in this spirit that we are currently looking to add a Financial Transformation Leader to our team in Newport Beach, CA. As the Financial Transformation Leader, you will play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by managing the transformation in Enterprise Finance. You'll partner with senior finance leaders to align on the target operating model for finance, prioritize the list of critical capabilities, drive ongoing scalability, and help to lead strategic change across the broader finance function.  If you're an expert in finance and business management whose capable of producing finance operational excellence with capabilities to be more scalable and the ability to be a strategic partner across the business, you're exactly who we're seeking. Role specific capabilities, aside, if you possess natural leadership, a commitment to improving the Enterprise Finance function and the insights necessary to grow in line with our mission, you're a perfect addition to our team.
What You'll Do
·Partner with the business and outside consultants to identify the interdependencies
·Leverage leading business and technology practices to deliver more effective and efficient ways of working, drive ongoing scalability
·Create a climate where people are motivated to their best to help the organization achieve its objectives
·Finalize the target operating model
·Align and implement capabilities to Improve the way Finance partners with the business:
oImprove business process efficiency
oImprove consistency, controls, and compliance
oActivate deep business and financial insights
oOptimize productivity
oEnable business capabilities

Factors for Success
·10+ years of similar or related experience in successfully managing transformations and/or large-scale program execution
·Bachelor's degree, preferred in Finance or business management
·Track record of successfully creating and implementing change agenda as well as a wealth of experience in financial functions solving both conventional and complex issues
·Ability to think strategically and create new and better ways for the organization to be successful
·A history of making effective and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward, combining analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment in decision quality
·Ability to influence and persuade colleagues both senior and junior, using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment
·Ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of external and internal stakeholders; ability to interface with all levels of management
·Ability to build strong teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals

Target level is AVP, but can be Director if experience is lighter.
