Pacific Life is looking to invest in bright, agile new talent to ensure we continue to innovate and strengthen relationships with our policyholders. It's in this spirit that we are currently looking to add a skilled Contracts and Licensing Specialist to our team in Lynchburg, VA.

As Contracts and Licensing Specialist, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by solving a range of non-routine problems, analyzing possible solutions, and interpreting and applying precedent to determine the appropriate course of action. You'll be responsible for providing operations support, problem resolution and specialized administrative support to producers, distributor back-offices and other internal customers.

What You'll Do

  • Gather information about producers relative to credentials for sales of insurance products and compensation

  • Review producer inquiries, problems, requests and suggestions to determine appropriate solutions and/or responses

  • Research and resolve commissions-related errors

  • Work with New Business to ensure accurate and timely processing of applications

  • Conduct accounting-related activities to mitigate financial risk and comply with state and federal regulations

Factors for Success

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service role, or combined directly related training and experience

  • Life insurance or related industry experience

  • Prior producer administration system experience

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Organizational and time management skills
