Description

The Brand & Creative Services Manager will lead the overall visual and audio identity, design and copy creation team for the company. This includes evaluating and understanding stakeholder opportunities/problems and delivering creative solutions across multiple mediums including TV/video, radio, print, digital (email, social, display), exterior/interior store experience, proprietary brand development/packaging, presentations, internal communications and other as requested.


Essential Job Functions

  • Holistic understanding of the entire brand and creative development process.
  • Oversee, manage, grow and protect the O'Reilly masterbrand and proprietary brands by developing, maintaining and requiring adherence to brand style, guidelines, tone and customer experience.
  • Direct and mentor a team of supervisors (and freelancers, agencies and suppliers as needed) as they oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring consistent adherence to the creative process and timeline. Primary scope includes traffic, brand & creative development and audio/video production.
  • Prioritize work and manage workflow across the department.
  • Present, explain and sell creative/campaign solutions to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Develop and grow the capabilities of team members and the department.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications or other relevant fields.
  • 5-8 years of experience managing traffic, digital and conventional design, copywriting and audio/video production.
  • Minimum 5-years of digital experience, including web, social display and emerging technologies.
  • A solid understanding of brand development, design, copy and web best practices.
  • Ability to present and communicate recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Previous retail and/or advertising agency experience desired.
