Robert Half has a large banking client seeking an EXECUTIVE RECEPTIONIST for an ongoing contract role in midtown. You will be covering two executive floors with several other receptionists, ensuring that there is VIP coverage of the floors at all times. You will also be answering phones, booking conference rooms, setting up for events, and assisting the executive assistants with work overflow.
Required Qualifications: -2+ years of experience as a receptionist in a large corporate environment. (You must have front desk experience, and it must be with a large corporation. Small business experience will not meet the requirement, alas, though I would be happy to look at your resume for other roles. Retail/customer service experience does not meet the requirement at all.) -A welcoming personality, able to solve problems with no ego or drama. -Skilled in intermediate Microsoft Excel. -Confident multitasking: Must be able to type while answering phones and greeting guests. Bonus Qualifications: -Experience in SharePoint and Concur (client will train if you do not have exposure to these programs) -Previous experience as a receptionist supporting an executive floor (as opposed to the first floor visitor desk) -Previous experience in banking and/or finance -Previous experience assisting executive assistants with work overflow such as calendar management, expense reports, and travel arrangements. -Bilingual (some of these floors deal with international clients, so being fluent in more than one language would be a plus. it is not, however, required).
