The Echo Tech will demonstrate concern and empathy while performing procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.
- Prepare and position patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
- Maintain proactive, effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any and all findings patient histories and test results as appropriate.
- Collaborate and confer with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
- Completion of an accredited, approved program in Sonography (Associate-level degree)
- Registry/registry eligible from CCI or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Prefer Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as an Echo Tech
Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required upon hire.
