The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time Gastroenterologists to join its practices in Manhattan and Queens!
Mount Sinai Beth Israel (General Gastroenterology):
This physician will be an integral member of the Division of Gastroenterology, and will work closely with the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Chief of Gastroenterology. This position will include a faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine. Responsibilities include: 26 weeks annually providing inpatient consults for the GI consult service, performing general endoscopic inpatient procedures, supervision and teaching of Mount Sinai Beth Israel gastroenterology fellows, call coverage, along with various administrative responsibilities. Ambulatory endoscopy is performed in our hospital-based unit . The 34th Street District is comprised of 31 busy blocks in the heart of Manhattan. It is a working district, with over 100,000 office workers coming in daily. It is a gateway to the city for visitors from New Jersey, Long Island, and the entire eastern seaboard. It is a magnet for tourists and fans of music and sports. In addition, of course, it is one of the greatest shopping districts in New York.
Mount Sinai Queens
Phenomenal opportunity to serve as Gastroenterologist for Mount Sinai in our Mount Sinai Queens Hospital and Ambulatory Pavilion in Astoria, Queens, one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in New York City. The Ambulatory Pavilion, a gleaming, six-story facility features the full range of primary and specialty services under one roof, with 50 physicians already onboard, including: Cardiology, Urology, Endocrine, Pediatrics, GYN, and Oncology, as well as a range of advanced imaging and procedural capabilities. The Queens Ambulatory Pavilion serves as the flagship outpatient facility for Mount Sinai in Queens. The Mount Sinai Queens Hospital, a 160 bed community hospital attached to the Ambulatory Pavilion, provides acute care services to the Queens and surrounding communities.
While working in conjunction with PCPs and specialists (including the other seven gastroenterologists), as well as administrative staff members, the ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. The typical workweek is split between inpatient and outpatient work.

- Compensation range from 143,060K to 622,173K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
Position Qualifications:
Medical Degree from an Accredited University
New York Medical License
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team oriented, performance-driven Health System

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.
