The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking compassionate ENT/Otolaryngologists to join its outpatient multi-specialty practices in Manhattan!

Otolaryngologist:

The practice is located in Morningside Heights which is a neighborhood on the West Side of Upper Manhattan in New York City. Morningside Heights is located in Upper Manhattan, bounded by Morningside Park to the east, 125th Street to the north, 110th Street to the south, and Riverside Park to the west. The neighborhood is zoned primarily for high-rise apartment buildings, though ground-floor stores are also present on Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. In practice, much of the neighborhood is composed of structures for the neighborhood's religious or academic institutions.

Pediatric and General Otolaryngologist:

The Mount Sinai Health Systems Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery seeks Fellowship-trained Pediatric and General Otolaryngologists to manage care across the Mount Sinai Health System. The position offers faculty unparalleled opportunities in clinical care and research. Consistently ranked among the best by U.S. News & World Report, the Department demonstrates excellence in all facets of clinical care, education and research. The Head and Neck Institute, Ear Institute and Grabscheid Voice and Swallowing Center are internationally recognized for innovations and advancements in the field. Some of these include the first robotic surgery for oropharyngeal cancers in New York, endoscopic surgery for otologic tumors and transgender voice care. The Head and Neck Cancer Research Program has been in existence for more than 20 years, and offers a wide breadth of groundbreaking clinical trials. Our faculty are also recognized leaders in skull base and sinus surgery, as well as microvascular reconstruction. They provide the highest level of multidisciplinary care, and embrace teaching students and participating in vibrant research.

Position Qualifications:
Medical Degree from an Accredited University
Ability to obtain a New York license
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
Active DEA license and BLS and ACLS certification
Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, bedside manner and organizational skills
Patient focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients
A strong work ethic and desire to participate in team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.

About Morningside Heights Manhattan:
Numerous academic buildings in Morningside Heights contain a city or national landmark designation. On the Columbia campus, these sites include Low Memorial Library, a National Historic Landmark as well as a city-designated interior and exterior landmark. Other NRHP sites on the Columbia campus include Philosophy Hall, where FM radio was invented; Pupin Hall, a National Historic Landmark where the first experiments on the fission of uranium were conducted by Enrico Fermi; and Casa Italiana on the East Campus, which is also a city landmark.
