The Supervisor, Warehouse Management is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations functions including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, transportation and inventory management. Also, oversee the pandemic inventory at the distributor including receipts of shipments, monthly inventory reports and timely delivery of products to the hospitals and ambulatory locations. The position is responsible to oversee all warehouse functions, assist in preparation of annual warehouse operation budget, maintain operating expenses based on the operating budget and the key performance indicators defined for efficient warehouse operations. 

In addition to the responsibilities at the Warehouse, the position also supports the optimization of supply chain at the MemorialCare Foundation ambulatory care locations including implementation of robust inventory management processes at the point of care and oversee the performance of the distributor.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
  • Route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups. Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for reimbursements of warehouse codes; complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.
  • Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
  • Manage a visibility board which includes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including fill rates, stock outs, backorders, receiving exceptions and others to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist with the implementation inventory management processes at the point of care across all ambulatory care locations.
