Memorial Hospital is currently accepting applications for an ARDMS-credentialed Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for producing quality, diagnostic ultrasound images ready for interpretation by the Radiologist(s). Flexible availability to cover various shifts (weekdays and weekends) at both sites as well as assigned call is necessary for consideration. BLS required.

- Current ARDMS credential
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Recent Ultrasound Technologist experience in a hospital setting is a plus!
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of equipment specific to ultrasound
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sterile technique and patient positioning techniques specific to ultrasound
- Knowledge of safety practices relative to radiation exposure, hazardous materials and infection control policies
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment
