The Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Architect focuses on client technologies including Windows \ Mac devices, Mobile Devices, Printers, Conference Room technology, and device management. This position partners with Infrastructure Leadership, Development Enterprise Architects, and Infrastructure Managed Service providers to ensure alignment of technology solutions, as well as, present plans and designs.
The Sr. Enterprise Infrastructure Architect will deliver client strategy and technical roadmap documents. Additionally, the Sr. Enterprise Infrastructure Architect coordinates with and oversees vendors on the delivery of large projects and day-to-day operations.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Internal consultant on client technologies including Windows \ Mac devices, Mobile Devices, Printers, Conference Room technology, and device management.

  • Provide leadership, strategic oversight/direction and defines Infrastructure standards/guidelines to Infrastructure Managed Services provider.

  • Ensures alignment to security architecture standards.

  • Participates in creation and maintenance of technology and application lifecycles, roadmaps and maintenance renewals.

  • Reviews annual budget for technology investments to ensure alignment to strategic goals for major projects.

  • Applies professional expertise and skills to review/evaluate vendor proposals to determine adherence to architectural guidelines, specifications and investment strategy.

  • Develops and facilitates the implementation of architectural policies and standards, procedures and templates for use in architectural design, service transition and sustained enterprise solution operations.

  • Align Architectural Runway to SAFe Agile Development.

  • Keeps abreast of technical aspects of the enterprise. Develops a working knowledge of a broad range of applications. Attends seminars and other educational opportunities, seeks out insight and on-the-job training from internal and external resources. Researches and keeps current on existing and emerging technologies.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's (or comparable combination of education and related experience) and 5 years post degree ITS experience.

  • 5+ years experience in ITS infrastructure or engineering environments developing, implementing, and supporting similar technologies and services.

  • Multiple certifications related to assigned area(s) of technology a plus.

  • Significant experience with enterprise scale projects in a cross functional environment.

  • Experience in multi-platform environments.

  • Superior understanding of distributed systems architecture and advanced knowledge of multiple technical disciplines including PC workstations (configuration and connectivity), network file servers, applicable software and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Possesses the highest level of technical knowledge and aptitude in assigned technologies, able to independently work on, support and lead other technical resources in supporting these technologies.

  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong leadership skills to ensure credibility with various leaders and stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of the enterprise business and business processes; awareness of business unit functions and cross-group dependencies/relationships.

  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills; as well as follow up and organizational skills.

  • General knowledge of vendors and services for assigned technologies.

  • Advanced knowledge of the following: Windows \ Mac devices, Mobile Devices, Printers, Conference Room technology, and device management.

  • General knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Microsoft Exchange.

    • Windows server OS, MS-SQL, Internet, intranet.

    • Solid understanding of cloud (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) capabilities and providers.

    • Broad range of telecommunications and networking.
