The development is focused around configuration of the solution and integrations to deliver efficiency for IT teams and vendors. The Senior Application Engineer drives engagement to understand customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies/vendor packages, and present solutions to all business and IT stakeholders. This position drives engagement with vendors, company customers, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to understand customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies/vendor packages, and present solutions.
What You'll be Doing:
Leads in the functional design, implementation and configuration of vendor software applications.
Designs and develops interfaces to vendor software applications and assists in deployment of solutions.
Provides leadership in defining solutions and processes for integrating ITSM to other ITSM, AI Ops, and Monitoring solutions.
Optimizes packages to meet SLA/functional requirements.
Serves as subject matter expert and technical consult of ITSM Suite and CMDB.
Drives engagement with ITS Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure deployment of vendor applications.
Interfaces with stakeholders and IT partners to develop acceptance criteria for projects features and user stories and ensures acceptance criteria are met.
Assists in production support and maintenance of the ITSM Suite and its interfaces.
Coordinates new product reviews, tests and pilots with other IT members, customers and stakeholders.
Coordinates feasibility studies/proofs of concept, to evaluate solutions.
Actively participates in all team Agile ceremonies.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
Bachelor's or 12 years' experience (or comparable combination of education and related experience).
Any SAFe certification or training preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience in business application design, development, installation, and modification.
Expertise with implementation and configuration of ITSM vendor packages/business systems.
Experience as a team member on project teams in a cross-functional environment.
Strong business knowledge, with hands-on experience managing vendor packages for the business.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Knowledge of secure code design principles and practices.
Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
