The Software Engineer (ML/Data) develops, tests, maintains and enhances enterprise data and analytics Machine Learning (ML)/Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions as a member of an Agile or Operations development team, and works with the entire team to ensure development conforms to acceptance criteria. This opening is for a Software Engineer for Platform and Data Services that works with business product owners, developers, and quality analysts to drive value delivery of data analytic solutions.
What You'll be Doing (Responsibilities):
Coordinate and collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Architect, and others to Implement, Modify, and Develop innovative Machine Learning algorithms to deliver new capabilities and tools.
Automate processes utilizing Machine Learning (ML). Perform ML/AI Testing and Build production process for ML/AI.
Directly responsible for the definition, design, and development of ML algorithms and identifying AI Tools.
Research, transform, and implement data science prototypes.
Research and implement modern software development procedures and latest AI models.
Develop Machine Learning applications and process.
Select and design ML using appropriate data models.
Train ML for domain specific tasks.
Codes, tests, and implements solutions according to the SAFe Agile principles and industry standards.
Performs unit tests, monitors results, and takes required corrective actions as needed.
Optimizes and enhances analytical assets to meet SLA/functional requirements.
Provides technical consultation in new development, enterprise integration and impact of enhancement on existing systems.
Assists product owners in systems analysis and creation or updating of documentation for all business processes.
Interfaces with the Product Owner and IT partners to develop acceptance criteria for features and user stories and ensures acceptance criteria are met. Actively participates in all team Agile ceremonies.
Participates with other IT members, customers and other stakeholders in new product reviews, tests and pilots.
Performs feasibility studies/proofs of concept to evaluate solutions.
Participates in structured walkthroughs, secure coding, and technical reviews ensuring application coding and design follows secure coding and design principles.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
Bachelor's or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in development tools, coding and scripting languages, SQL and testing.
AI Engineer knowledge and experience required.
Retail experience is a plus.
Understanding and proficiency in Data Analytics, Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with skills like Python, R, SQL and tools Data Bricks, Azure ML studio, Jupiter and additional tools for ML/AI.
Experience as a team member on project teams in a cross-functional environment. Experience on Agile teams is preferred. Business Acumen
Skilled in Applied mathematics, Statistics
Strong knowledge of development tools, coding and scripting languages, SQL and testing.
Knowledge of database management and file access methods.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
