Responsible for the implementation of equipment within the Centurylink network in Europe to meet customer and network growth. Successful candidate would work within defined processes and systems to ensure timely, accurate and within budget implementations or recoveries on the European Network. The role plays a significant part in the success of the NP&I organization to enable the EMEA region to bring end to end improvements to affect our key business metrics (i.e. revenue and cash flow)
Works under minimal supervision, performs a wide spectrum of complex assignments requiring alternative analysis, innovation and judgment. Must have a strong customer focus and functions as lead and mentor to others.The Main Responsibilities
To lead on simple/complex projects, perform an active role in the preparation & implementation stages.
Creating and managing Equipment shipments using internal systems, liaising with logistics to ensure timely delivery. Focal point for Logistics/Global Field Services.
Using internal systems to create Low Level Design work packages that support hardware installations by Global Field Services and maintaining data integrity in the internal deployed network databases.
Utilizing workflow tools for receiving tasks, scheduling projects to Global Field Services and being their main point of contact.
Report regularly on project status, providing written / oral updates as required.

Needs to have functional knowledge of Inside Plant (ISP) disciplines, fibre optic, electrical and other related telecom practices conforming to Industry standards;
Position may require some travel and overtime requirements as dictated by business demands.
May be required to work outside of standard hours as required by management.
All Transport activities are performed in line with pre-defined objectives, often quantified in metric terms, it is essential in this role that the employee understands and performs against the departmental and company targets.
Excellent understanding of SDH, DWDM, Ethernet. Technology requirements for this position include - Huawei (6800, 3800 and/or 1800), Infinera, Nokia 1830, Ciena 6500 & 6110, Ciena 5400 series, ADVA R7 equipment desirable.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, perform an active role in the preparation of projects and taking responsibility for delivery of the Implementation portion of the projects.
Attention to detail, to ensure data integrity is maintained, and to give clear and unambiguous instruction when scheduling tasks to remote hands.
