Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this role is to lead a large-scale engineering team within a fast-changing technical environment. This includes responsibility for managing single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and privileged access management and providing Information Security Risk, Governance, Identity and Access Management, and other assigned functions across Lowe's in a large-scale global environment. This role serves as a technical expert for project teams that establish and maintain programs that enable the business to operate efficiently and remain in compliance with regulatory and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leads development, documentation, and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Initiates, facilitate, and promotes activities to create information security awareness throughout the organization
  • Monitors and routinely audits compliance to all information security procedures and policies and ensures consistency of internal controls
  • Observes changes in local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards affecting information security and make recommendations on the need for policy changes.
  • Provides oversight and ownership for intrusion detection and response
  • Assists in system and software architecture and design to ensure that assets are appropriately secured at all times
  • Manages Identity & Access Management services, including identity creation, access governance, role management, user provisioning, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and privileged access management
  • Meets or exceeds customers' expectations while creating a seamless experience by an understanding of team goals and daily activities fit into Lowe's and IT strategy the company vision
  • Serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of assigned information security solutions; defines and oversees the documentation of detailed standards (e.g., guidelines, processes, procedures)
  • Facilitates effective collaboration with other technology teams, including Engineering to design and implement remediation solutions
  • Leads the technical evaluation of new security technologies that address both current and future needs based on emerging threats and industry trends
  • Solves complex cross-functional architecture/design and business problems; solutions are extensible; works to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks, etc.
  • Mentors and advises others, sharing an in-depth understanding of the company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 7+ years' experience in technology system support, software development or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience with information security applications and systems
  • 4+ years' experience in database technologies
  • 6+ years' experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
  • 3+ years of DevOps experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience with Cloud technologies
  • 4+ years' experience designing application pipelines with secure configuration parameters to remove or reduce known threat vectors
  • 4+ years' experience evaluating complex application and hosting environments to identify potential weaknesses and provide remediation plans to reduce risk
  • 5+ years' experience designing complex application and infrastructure systems to identify and recommend cybersecurity mitigations in either code or additional infrastructure items (WAF, FW, etc.)
  • 6+ years' experience working with diverse application and infrastructure environments to identify and provide technical guidance on threat reduction at both the application and supporting infrastructure layer

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills to solve problems, perform research and derive solution opportunities
  • Strong background in Authentication technologies including Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Experience deploying large-scale, global projects and programs
