Transactions Specialist

Essential Functions:

  • Analyzes and resolves all loan-level investor post-closing issues for an assigned account base of loans
  • Reconciles expected loan cost to actual loan cost asserted through the investor's Purchase Advice
  • Responsible for timely and accurate data-entry of individual conditions into Encompass within 24 to 48 hours of investor notification
  • Consults and communicates with all PHM departmental staff to expedite the investor purchase process
  • Communicates and escalates unresolved investor conditions to the Secondary Transactions Sr. Team Lead
  • Supports Service Level Agreement timelines from shipping to investor purchase through daily review of reporting and Encompass
  • Represents PHM with internal/external clients on loan-level issues
  • Maintains and distributes weekly status updates on open investor conditions
  • Facilitates condition fulfillment through document exchange on investor proprietary websites
  • Assists other team members as directed by the Secondary Transactions Sr. Team Lead
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Analytical, organized and coachable
  • Highly communicative. Must be effective on the telephone and in writing
  • Aptitude and comfort working with uncertainty and implementing change in a high pressure, time-constrained environment
  • Technological adaptability - Ellie Mae Encompass LOS experience is preferred
  • Previous mortgage experience in any one or combination of:
    • Processing
    • Underwriting
    • Closing
    • Post-Closing
