The Development Assoc-Alumni&Donor executes a variety of alumni and stewardship activities for the Alumni and Donor Relations office as relates to LLUH constituents. Participates in the coordination and completion of special projects, internal and external events, recognition, and alumni engagement. Performs some clerical operations and general office management. Performs other duties as needed.


Associate Degree in related field preferred. Minimum two years of office experience required; preferably in planned giving, fundraising or marketing.


Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Computer skills in a PC environment with the capability to master new software applications and technologies in database management. Experience with Raiser's Edge preferred. Advanced expertise in the functional use of the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Excellent word processing and accurate keyboarding skills required. Able to interact effectively and respond appropriately to donors, volunteers, institutional staff and administrators at all levels. Able to work collaboratively and be flexible. Highly ethical and able to appropriately manage sensitive and confidential information. Strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Able to accurately proofread and edit reports and correspondence. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Able to work competently and efficiently in a multi-task environment and negotiate competing timeliness while supporting a multi-staff department. Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with multiple and often conflicting interests. Ability to think critically; work independently and with minimal supervision; and work well under pressure. Capability to evaluate problems accurately and display good judgment. Demonstrated skills and commitment to quality, timeliness, efficiency, and effectiveness.
