Our core values are compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork and wholeness.The Supervisor-Computed Tomography (CT) works under minimal supervision and exercises discretion and independent judgment in handling personnel issues including equipment malfunctions, scheduling and staffing. Supervises Imaging Specialty-CT to ensure high level of service, productivity and equality. Recommends promotions, discipline and other administrative actions. Enforces LLUMC safety regulations, Policies and Procedures and State and Federal regulations. Provides instructions to Imaging Specialists and Students in the use of equipment, maintenance and quality control (QC) programs. Acts as a Liaison between internal and external customers to resolve any customer satisfaction issues. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other duties as needed.

Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program required. Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred. Minimum three years of technical experience in Computed Tomography required. Minimum five years of technical experience in Computed Tomography preferred.Knowledge with safety regulations, state and federal regulations required. Understanding of CT protocols, department and hospital policies and procedures. Must be able to expertly operate all CT equipment in all locations. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently with minimal supervision; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors and smells as necessary for patient care; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone; identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the work place/patient care; see adequately to read computer screens, medical records, and written documents necessary to position; discern temperature variances through touch.
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license, Fluoroscopy license, Cardio Pulmonary (CPR) certification, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license, and Computed Tomography ARRT advanced license required. Additional specialty licensure preferred as applicable. Additional Information
