Purchasing Trainee for Technology Asset Management

Help supporting all of LEGO with IT Related purchases

It is exciting times at LEGO! In IT, we are on a journey moving towards an agile delivery methodology while we are doing a major IT transformational programme.

While creating this transformation we are naturally still running the daily operations and the two combined generates a massive need to drive and improve our purchasing processes.

Therefore, we seek a Purchasing Trainee that:

- Can support and drive purchasing operations

- Thrives in interacting with our customers around in the business

- Can support various purchase related projects and transformations

- Can drive various improvements

- Can drive communication from the team

- Can work directly with vendors

A purchasing function within IT

You will join the Technology Asset Management team within IT. We are approximately 11 colleagues that own IT purchasing processes, drive IT budgets, as well as driving compliance, purchasing and optimisations around software, hardware and consultancy services.

Our journey to improve and optimise the deliverables and processes is constant.

You will become a part of a team that is on a journey from being transactional to becoming tactically and strategically oriented through an agile methodology and implementation of new tools and processes.

We trust each other to make decisions, do what is right and get things done to the highest possible quality, but at the same time also have a relentless focus on building skills and competences with each team member for them to reach their highest potential.

A purchasing trainee who challenges the status quo

As an equal part of the team it is important that you can create trust and collaborate with your colleagues, and furthermore that you every day are aiming to learn as much as possible both personally and professionally.

You must thrive working with data and numbers to gain valuable insights, as well as being comfortable working in enterprise systems.

We seek a trainee that is curious and analytical by nature, and who is not afraid to ask questions, challenge us and bring new ideas and insights to the table. You focus on delivering value and are not afraid to act or speak up if you find a smarter way to do things.

Your qualifications:

- You are enrolled in a Danish trading education specializing in purchasing

- You are an Excel super-user

- You are a quick learner

- You are fluent in English both written and verbally

- You are responsible and follow task/project through

- You are customer oriented

- You thrive in an autonomous environment
