Remote Position (FL Only) This is a remote position incumbents, who reside in Florida only, may work at home. There may be occasional situations that require work to be performed on-site at an assigned Lee Health location.
The HIM Advanced Application Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align
information technology solutions with business initiatives.
Preparing and executes functional, system and program specifications using structured methodology.
Independently leads and coordinates medium and small projects responsible for managing and meeting project timeline, budget and quality parameters.
Applies advanced business systems analyst knowledge and expertise to accomplish business objectives.
Build, Support, Implementation and Testing efforts as it relates to 3M 360 Encompass CAC-Computed Assisted Coding & CDI Application
Additional Experience Requirements:
3M System Admin Certification
Strong operational background in Coding and/or CDI
Strong working knowledge / understanding of HL7 interfaces between Epic HIS and Coding/CDI applications
Additional Experience Preferences:
Certification/Proficiency in Epic HIM Coding application Strongly Preferred
Working knowledge / understanding of general Epic functionality, terminology, and workflows Strongly Preferred
Experience supporting 3M 360 Encompass Professional Suite Preferred
AHIMA Certification (RHIT and/or RHIA) Preferred
Preferred and/or Bachelor's Preferred Additional Requirements
Will accept 5 years of experience in lieu of degree
