Job Summary


The Marketing Coordinator Member Outreach and Education II will assist with core marketing activities as they relate to member marketing. Activities such as providing support in reviewing, editing and coordinating feedback/ensuring consistency of message and branding for marketing projects. The Marketing Coordinator will support the activities of the Marketing Department by handling the Marketing Project Submission and Review process through Podio in collaboration with departmental specialists, managers, designers and the production manager. This position will be very involved in the marketing team's coordination of member touchpoints and education. This will include but not be limited to new member on-boarding, education of benefit utilization, implementation of new technology for member communication and the on-going member education associated with our health services initiatives. The position involves a range of diverse activities to maximize productivity and effectiveness of the Marketing department and requires professional communication and organizational skills.

Duties


Member Education: Supports the coordination of member education focused deliverables. Develops and tracks of these tasks across all initiatives for all lines of business will be critical in order to deliver effective and functional education to members. These projects will be delivered in multiple mediums including print, web and other digital delivery systems.

 

Programs and Initiatives:  Assists in the development and launch of key regualatory member informing materials such as the Medi-Cal and Cal Medi-Connect annual mailings. Helps shephard the visibility and implementation of projects across the appropriate member journey. Projects associated with help services, Community Resource Centers and product benefit launches will all need support from the coordiantor.

 

Marketing Collaboration: Works with the various key groups within marketing to be able to deliver outcomes that are both effective and cross functional. This includes working closely with designers, production managers for print and the accessibility team. In addition the coordinator will need to work with management, specialists and the sales team to incorpoirate any feedback into project tasks.

 

Processes and Systems: Needs to use various key systems and platforms to be able to track progress of tasks and deliverables in order to effectively manage workload. This will require constant communication within these platforms and the updating of statuses and key updates.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Required Associate's Degree In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered. Education Preferred Associate's Degree Experience

Required:
At least 0-1 years of marketing experience.

Skills


Required:
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with little supervision.

 

Must be team oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills and build strong cross-functional relationshipss, both internally and externally.

 

Excellent and effective verbal and written communication.

 

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage time effectively and meet competing deadlines.

 

Familiarity with the corporate business environment.

 

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

 

Event planning and management experience.
