Job Summary:
The Treasury Management Customer Service Representative (TMR) is a key member of our Treasury Management team responsible for responding to inquiries from corporate clients and internal departments via telephone, email, and fax. TMRs are adept problem-solvers, dedicated to providing high-quality service and resolving complex issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role encompasses service on both a national and international scale, supporting customers across all time zones and lines of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond independently and creatively to a high volume of inbound customer inquiries and issues related to Treasury Management products and services, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
- Support clients via phone, email, fax, and internal chat, processing requests within established service levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with TM platforms, such as client portal, mainframe/internet transmissions, and specialized TM software/hardware.
- Manage multiple customer requests, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with team members for a seamless customer experience.
- Provide basic training and support for Treasury Management products, including new and existing service features or enhancements.
- Utilize and navigate 20+ internal applications/systems to research and obtain client information.
- Assist in updating and maintaining Treasury Management procedures and documentation.
- Vigilantly recognize, respond, and escalate urgent issues and security concerns, including potential fraud or high-risk transactions.
- Adhere to customer identity verification protocols before releasing information or processing transactions.
- Contribute to revenue through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Participate in outbound calling campaigns, system migrations/conversions, and special projects.
- Responsible for balancing general ledger accounts and demonstrating a thorough understanding of debits and credits.
- Functional, analytical, and technical skills with strong technical learning ability.
- Exceptional problem-solving and drive for results in a customer-centric environment.
- Excellent communication, listening, and multitasking skills under pressure.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of customer service experience.
- Minimum 3 years in retail, financial sales, or call/contact center roles.
- At least 4 years' experience working with Microsoft Outlook, systems data entry, and internet research.
- Ability to sit and use a headset for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
- Availability to manage customer inquiries from international markets (Canada, Mexico, Asia, and more).
