Description

Shipping and Receiving Verifier – Warehouse, Logistics, Inspection (RF/WMS Experience Required)
Location: Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Shipping and Receiving Verifiers for a busy warehouse and logistics facility. This role serves as the primary inspector for documenting and verifying inbound and outbound cargo, ensuring accurate counts, condition reports, and proper documentation for shipping and receiving. Candidates must possess RF/WMS experience, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive products with care.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate inspection and documentation of received and shipped cargo
  • Record inventory transactions using handheld RF devices and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Document all product counts and condition for both inbound and outbound shipments
  • Perform equipment inspections and record any issues or damages
  • Safely operate clamp attachments, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure a safe workspace while avoiding blind spots
  • Keep assigned work areas clean and perform general housekeeping duties
  • Assist with inventory control and other verification tasks as assigned
  • Meet production and safety goals and comply with all warehouse policies and procedures
  • Safely transfer inventory within warehouse locations
  • Assist with general warehouse functions, including supporting customer requirements and facility goals
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum one year of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
  • Proficient in RF-based warehouse management systems (WMS), Camelot experience a plus
  • Experience operating clamp attachments and warehouse equipment
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent recordkeeping and communication skills
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and use of hands
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds (assistance required for heavy items)
  • Specific vision abilities required including close vision and focus adjustment
  • Exposure to varying noise levels and seasonal temperature fluctuations
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
