Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician near Coal City, IL.

Contract to Hire
Shift:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 4am-4pm (Work 36 hours and get paid for 40)
Compensation: $20-21/hr DOE 

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting and testing manufacturing processes and products to ensure product quality. This role utilizes various inspection and test equipment, methods, and processes, ensuring that proper procedures are followed and thoroughly documented to maintain product quality and records traceability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor line components, including part numbers, characteristics, and associated documentation.
  • Make quality judgments (pass/fail) based on established standards.
  • Perform and document required testing and inspections.
  • Navigate and comply with SAP requirements and instructions.
  • Verify order-related paperwork against physical samples and label identification.
  • Assist Production and Quality Supervision in troubleshooting line issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • 2-3 years of inspection experience.
  • Experience performing finished good tests like spray rates, total evacuation, crimp depths, and pressure gauges required.
  • Proficient in the use of basic measuring instruments.
  • Ability to understand product and documentation traceability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of quality protocols and procedures in a GMP environment.
  • Effective time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
