We are a small, hands-on manufacturing company looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wearing many hats. If you like being part of a team, contributing across departments, and taking ownership of your work, we want to meet you. Position Summary
The Bookkeeper will handle accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), assist with financial analysis and reporting, and support core accounting functions. This role requires accuracy, initiative, and a team-player mindset. Experience with Global Shop ERP is a plus. Responsibilities
Accounts Payable

  • Enter and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records in Global Shop.
  • Match invoices to packing slips and POs; verify coding and approvals.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process vendor payments via checks, ACH, and credit cards.
  • Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries.
  • Assist with A/P aging reports and cash flow planning.
Accounts Receivable
  • Generate and send customer invoices and account statements.
  • Apply customer payments and reconcile A/R accounts.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balances.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Assist with credit applications and account setup.
General Accounting Financial Support
  • Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
  • Support financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • Track inventory-related expenses and cost variances.
  • Prepare and organize documents for audits.
  • Provide backup support across accounting/administrative functions.
Team Operations Support
  • Collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and management.
  • Comfortable pitching in and handling multiple responsibilities.
  • Support process improvements and efficiencies.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
  • Manufacturing or ERP experience preferred; Global Shop experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Solid understanding of A/P, A/R, and general accounting principles.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and able to manage deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
