FULL TIME -
Under direct supervision, the Inside Tinter role consistently delivers excellent service to all customers. The Inside Tinter initiates and completes all tinting and custom/eye matching color requests in a timely manner. This role supports proper handling and distribution of company inventory and assets. The Inside Tinter assists with the day- to-day operations of a Kelly-Moore paint store and contributes to the sales, gallon and margin growth performance objectives of the store.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills using the Signature Service Standards. Accurately prepares and processes in-person, phone and email orders as required in order to meet customer requirements. Assists customers with the selection of paint colors and sundry products through the point of sale. Accurately tints paint and eye matches color. Prepares and/or contributes to the processing of operational and sales documents. Handles payment transactions, including cash and charge verifications following company protocols. Acurately follows receiving procedures; unloads and stocks incoming inventory. Complies with the requirements of a retail store schedule, which may include working shifts beginning early in the morning; works weekends and holidays as required.
Double checks all orders- colors, products and quantities, etc. to ensure accuracy. Helps to maintain paint and sundry inventories to required levels. Helps to maintain company standards for store appearance, including the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the store. Helps to maintain company merchandising standards for store appearance, window and sales floor displays, promotional displays, etc. Delivers orders to meet customer requirements while complying with Kelly-Moore Paint Company's driving agreement. Assists Store Management to ensure store meets all operational parameters and goals. Complies with all Kelly-Moore Paint Company policies and procedures. Completes all required training in a timely manner. May perform light maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and dusting. May clean restrooms as needed.
Age requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older. Frequently kneels, stoops, crouches, bends, climbs, reaches overhead, pushes, pulls, and grasps. Works around heat, cold, dirt, dust, and minimal paint odors. Uses electronic point-of-sale device and scanner. May be required to operate powered industrial trucks such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc. Accurately distinguishes colors. Operates powered industrial equipment, including tinting and shaking equipment. Frequently carries, relocates and/or lifts up to 70 pound cartons and containers (including 5-gallon paint containers). Operates a fully loaded (280 lbs.) hand truck and/or cart (1120 lbs.). Stands and walks on concrete surfaces for up to 8 hours per day.
