Einstein Medical Center Montgomery is recruiting for 2 full-time OB/GYN Generalist Physicians to join Womens Associates for Healthcare. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team of physicians and certified nurse midwives dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to all of our patients, ranging from adolescence to adulthood. We provide low-risk and high risk prenatal care, and provide a full range of gynecological care, including preventative care and management of gynecological issues. Our physicians are well-versed in and perform advanced minimally-invasive surgeries. We are involved in resident training of our Family Practice and Emergency Medicine residents, as well as with GYN surgical training of OBGYN residents who are from the Einstein Philadelphia residency program.
Our offices are located in East Norriton (in hospital), Norristown, and King of Prussia, and we are looking to expand our locations in the future.
Einstein Medical Center Montgomery performs approximately 2000 deliveries a year, and there is 24/7 midwife and OB physician in-house coverage- our group is responsible for about 40% of the delivery volume. Call coverage is performed via a laborist model shared between us and 2 other OB/Gyn practices. We have a 13-bed capacity Level III NICU, which is staffed by CHOP neonatologists. We also have a robust MFM division of 4 MFMs who cover both Einstein Montgomery and Einstein Philadelphia.
We have a collaborative care model of labor: CNMs predominantly manage the laboring patients, and we are known in the community for our model of true collaboration beteween midwives and OB physicians. Our nurses are extremely dedicated and provide patient-centered care and we have a great group of team members who truly function as a close knit team.
Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYNs are invited to apply, including 2023 and 2024 OB/GYN Residents. This position is ideal for someone who wants to practice clinical medicine but also wants to continue to be involved in Resident education.
