Project Lead

This role will oversee the IQVIA Ironshore project with major responsibility for field team in partnership with the customer's leadership team to ensure the execution of sales strategy. The role is responsible for delivering on all commercial sales contractual obligations as agreed to with the client.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales force to lead resolution of all administrative and personnel issues

• Coach and council field to reinforce product knowledge, core selling message and role model best practices

• Responsible for overall operations schedule, day-to-day operations, coordinating across all IQVIA areas

• Schedules and prepares materials for cross-team and governance meetings

• Responsible for planning and delivering the annual business planning process and routine business reviews at the Regional and District level

• Provide monthly reports to the client

• Support the planning for National Sales Meetings and sales leadership meetings including conference calls, curriculum development, POA meeting content, develop agendas, meeting logistics

• System and data management including:

  • Customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Expense reporting (Concur) including audits
  • Market data (IMS data)
  • Aggregate spend reporting (Sunshine Act)
  • Speaker Bureau, promotional expenditure management
  • Incentive Plan data management
  • Targeting and alignments (salesforce effectiveness)

• Assist with the planning and delivery of training and periodic sales meetings

• Attend District/Regional sales meetings to observe content and logistics

• Monitor compliance with Promotional Program, and proper use of Promotional Materials and Promotional Expense Budgets

• Manage all operational and personnel needs relating to the sales force

• Monitor time-keeping and attendance

• Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations

• Comply with governing corporate policies and SOPs

• Support recruitment of field personnel through collaboration with Staffing leads, including hiring event management and recruitment event analytics

• Make occasional field visits with select Sales Representatives to motivate and assess and monitor field activity and Client response

• Travel required

Qualifications/Experience

  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university required
  • At least seven years of pharmaceutical field sales experience
  • At least five years sales' management experience
  • Strong project and product management orientation
  • Experience working closely with sales training
  • Product launch experience preferred
  • Previous experience with CNS/Psychiatry, ADHD products a strong plus
  • Strong planning and organization, problem solving and decision
    making skills, as well as technical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate directly with the customer to ensure that all customer goals and objectives are being met as planned
  • Strong business acumen and ability to clearly and concisely report detailed national sales results and data to internal Sales Management, as well as the customer
  • Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally within a team
    environment
