We are currently looking to recruit an International Business Development Director into our International Contract Sales and Medical Solutions team who will take the lead on partnering with clients to deliver excellence in the international market via professional, consultative & proactive sales activities working with key decision-makers & influencers in this space.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Adopt successful strategies and tactics to meet market demands and financial targets with specified accounts
• Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within in target and opportunistic accounts and develop in-depth knowledge of the customer organisation.
• Ensure appropriate commercial strategy/solution is proposed to customer. Monitor actions and results against plans.
• Work with the commercial operational leads to identify the proposal/sales team and lead the sales presentation.
• Support the International and European BD teams with the development of specific commercial proposals across Europe.
To apply you will need:
•Bachelor's degree in Life Science or related field with proven commercial experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
•Experience within a business development or sales environment where there is a personal or group sales target
•Proven track record at developing mid-level and high-level contacts
•Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles commercial strategies
•Comfortable operating at regional level and can translate plans into activity at local level.
•Strategic business awareness and analytical skills
•Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment coupled with attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
